Ouch!

Bring Peavy in real quick. Just when it seems the Sox are ready they stumble and fall.

Lillibridge or Pods?

It seems that Kenny Williams will send down Brent Lillibridge when B.A. comes back over the weekend. What will Pods role be? He will become a bench player: pinch hitter and pinch runner. I think he has no value as a pinch runner because he has become slower, clearly, Lillibridge has pure speed and would be the better runner off the bench. Pods trumps Lillibridge with the bat. I say Lillibridge has to go to the minors to get his cut swing going. Anyway, things are looking very very dark heading into Toronto, a house of horrors for us. Speaking of Toronto, thay have some great young hitters. I still am not sitting easy. The summer looms. The heaviness of summer heat will linger only made worse by the Sox gasping for breath as their frustrations mount. It seems they are playing "joyless" baseball.

Pale Hose blanked again 6-0

Our Pale Hose were blanked again, this time by the Indians. 4-0. The Indians gave up 12 runs an an inning to the Red Sox last week without even an out and our boys could only get 12 runs in the series. Cliff Lee went 0-1 on every batter as our hitters seemed lost once again. What is the hitting philosophy of the team anyway? Greg Walker will always be the hitting coach it seems as Guillen and co. have decided that loyalty is more important than winning. Also, if Lillibridge continues to hit the ball in the air with his speed, as he has done in every at bat this year, he will never even hit .200. He would have a better chance of hitting .2oo by bunting every at bat. Podsednik had 2 hits but he plays tired to me and clearly has just average speed. Kenny Williams is responsible for this mess.... on paper we stink and on the field we do to. Six times we have been shut out already. An embarrassment!!! With one championship in our pocket, it seems all are content in the front office.

Another O for the Boys

For our beloved Pale Hose, they were shut out for the sixth time today...... 4-0 by the last place Tribe. Cleveland, who gave up 12 runs in a frame to Boston last week without even an out, gave up only 12 runs to the Sox in the three game series. Lii

Lillibridge???

OK let us be serious. Brent Lillibridge can not hit and needs to be sent to the minors. FACT- he has a huge loop in his swing and hits the ball in the air too much. Anderson will be back soon and Brent will join Jose down in the minors. Carlos Quentin saw 7 pitches in 5 at bats this evening. He popped up 2 balls and grounded out the others. With bases loaded in the 7th and the Pale down by 5 you would think he would take a pitch against a struggling pitcher. NO! He swings wildly at the first pitch, OUT and ball game over at that point.

Wisdom..........

What we are looking for is REAL White Sox wisdom..... Real opinions on what are Pale Hose should be doing, how they are doing etc. No open emotions here just pure analytical thought. Peace!

Club Stumbles against Tribe

Our Pale Hose, stumble into Cleveland and continue to stink up the joint. Floyd continues to have no idea what he is doing and has NO CLUE where the ball is going when he throws it. He gave 2 runs in the first and went 1-0 on each batter. This is the same Indians who are in last and had not scored a run in 19 innings over the weekend. I WELCOME ALL THOSE WHITE SOX FANS to this site who are already feeling nervous about our teams chances.
